ME AND YOU(TUBE)

About a month ago, Greg Williams, a pop culture writer for the Tampa Tribune, contacted me, Ken Jennings, best known for his record 74-game winning streak on Jeopardy!, and Ray Hamel, author of The New York Times Trivia Quiz Book, and asked us to participate in a 'unique, photo-based movie quiz.' Essentially, we were asked to look at 45 screen-grabs of the frame in the exact middle of 'well-known films' and, on that basis alone, attempt to identify them. Why? Because this is the strange way that the popular web site YouTube arrives at the screen-grabs that it posts next to a clip's title. Anyway, some of the screen-grabs in the quiz are easy to identify but, let me tell you, others are nearly impossible. I guess that’s the point. The results--as well as an interactive version of the quiz itself--has just been posted online for anyone to see, and both will be featured in Monday's Tribune.
